Problem
On Oak Flower Farm, we have Chickens. However, our coop did not have a defined target audience or graphics to represent their purpose. Define the target audience: anyone that loves to consume farm fresh eggs sourced from a local neighbor. Develop a Brand Identity System for this product and reach the target audience.

My Role
Identify the target audience and create content that will encourage purchases of farm fresh eggs. Take photographs of the operations of this endeavor and include the life cycle of the chicken's egg laying process.

Solution
Create elements of a Brand Identity System for Chic-Inn, a subdivision of Oak Flower Farm. Develop a logo, the egg carton packaging, edit photography of the project, establish typographic elements, iconography and a color palette. Supply the elements needed to allow the target audience to enjoy the documentation of farm fresh egg production. Allow the consumer to be included in the locally reaped and sown process of local laying chickens.

Challenges
Maintaining the laying chickens needs, fresh water, food, shelter and affection. Communication with multiple a variety of involved clients in this farm operation. Accepting valuable feedback from clients and peers. Defining the client’s needs.

Learnings
I learned that farming chickens is super labor intensive. I learned that the client likes the iteration process and really enjoyed seeing my sketches and concept maps. I learned that an egg carton packaging comes with many specifications and has fine detail. I learned that playing with egg cartons, taking photos of them and seeing what works best helped with the concept of this logo and the branding for farm fresh, local eggs.
